Four Cycle Applications:
Lawn care equipment operating temperatures, expecially with air-cooled engines, can rise quite high, jeopardizing equipment life. In addition, conventional petroleum motor oils also become quite hot and quickly experience oxidative and thermal breakdown, resulting in premature engine wear. AMSOIL Synthetic Motor Oils are ideal for use in gasoline or diesel four-cycle lawn care equipment, including tractors, mowers, sweepers and tillers. AMSOIL Motor Oils provide a wide range of protection for four-cycle air- and water-cooled engines, avoiding oxidative and thermal breakdown in high tempreature, high RPM conditions and maintaining their lubricating and cooling abilities. AMSOIL Motor Oils also contain special rust and corrosion inhibitors to protect engines against condensation and water even when they're not in use. Many four-cycle lawn equipment applications do not include oil filters, so oil dispersants must keep contaminants and wear particles suspended in the oil until it is drained. As petroleum oil breaks down, these cleaning additives are quickly depleted, causing deposits and sludge to build up and resulting in premature engine wear. AMSOIL Synthetic Motor Oils safely hold contaminants in suspension, while their superior ability to reduce friction and wear keeps engines in top condition. AMSOIL Synthetic 10W30/SAE30 and 10W40 Motor Oils provide outstanding protection in four-cycle lawn care equipment applications.
AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke Small Engine Oil (ASE) is a robust formulation designed for hot temperature, severe service operation of small engines where routine maintenance is often difficult or infrequent. It resists heat and reduces oil consumption. It provides excellent protection for transmission systems and is ideal for hydraulic or hudrostatiac systems and chain cases.
2-Cycle Applications:
AMSOIL Saber Professional Synthetic 100:1 Pre-Mix 2-Cycle Oil (ATP) is formulated with exclusive AMSOIL synthetic base oils and premium additives. Designed for lean mix rations in two-cycle motors, Saber Professional has excellent lubricity and cleanliness properties, controling friction and preventing wear, plug fouling, ring sticking and exhaust port blocking. It is specifically designed for small engines including, but not limited to, chain saws, lawn equipment, blowers, chop saws, pumps, and carts. It is formulated with high temperature detergent additives that prevent hard carbon deposits from forming in these hot operating motors. Saber Professional is "smokeless" and delivers fewer emissions at 100:1 mix ratios than oils mixed at 50:1. Equipment operators subjected to smoke and fumes will benefit from these low emission properties. Because one mix ration satisfies multiple pieces of equipment, Saber Professional eliminates mix ration confusion. Saber Professional is recommended for pre-mix where ISO-L-EGD, JASO FD or API TC is specified.
Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil:
Engineered to meet the tough demands of hydraulic and hydrostatic powered applications, AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil (ATH) exceeds the most demanding "all weather" Universal Tractor Transmission Oil specifications of both Ford New Holland FNHA-2-C-200 & 2-C-201 and John Deere J20C & J20D, eliminating the need for seasonal oil changes. It also exceeds the performance requirements of virtually every piece of modern machinery. Its high quality base stocks and advanced additives effectively reduce wear, control hydraulic fade, protect seals and hoses, promote smooth brake operation and increase lubricant and equipment life.
Bar & Chain Oil:
AMSOIL Semi-Synthetic Bar & Chain Oil (ABC) is ideal for chainsaws. Its semi-synthetic base stocks reduce drag effictively, which optimizes efficiency and extends chain life. It clings tenaciously to metal surfaces, delivering unparalleled lubrication and protection.
Fogging Oil:
AMSOIL Engine Fogging Oil (FOG) offers superior film retention, providing long-term protection against corrosion and dry starts, extending engine life and reducing operating expenses. Its aerosol spray formulation offers easy and clean applications, while reaching more components and offering complete distribution of the oil. It is designed for both two and four cycle engines.
Gasoline Stabilizer:
When the season winds down and it's time to put lawn care equipment into storage, be sure to treat your equipment with AMSOIL Gasoline Stabilizer (AST). AMSOIL Gasoline Stabilizer keeps fuel from deteriorating during storage by reducing the oxidation process and preventing the varnish and gum buildup that clogs injectors, sticks floats and causes poor engine performance. Treat rate is one ounce with every 2.5 gallons of fuel.
Greases:
AMSOIL Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease (GLC) is designed for multiple use applications, including wheel bearings and electric motors. It excels in both high and low operating temperatures, and has excellent adhesion properties and water resistance. It reduces repair and maintenance costs. AMSOIL Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease is also available in a convenient spray, perfect for hard-to-reach equipment.
AMSOIL Synthetic Heavy-Duty Grease (GHD) is designed for heavy-duty applications, including gears and bushings. It maintains consistency and protects against wear during severe mechanical activity. It provides high load protection, excels in temperature extremes, has excellent water resistance and rust protection, is adhesive and shear stable, and prevents squeeze out.
AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Grease (GWR) is formulated specially for wet-duty performance, providing excellent cohesiveness and adhesiveness. It seals metal surfaces against rust and chemically fights corrosion. It effectively reduces friction, helping equipment run cooler, performs over a wide temperature range, and protects against wear, even under heavy loads.
