Arkansas Game and Fish Commission

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission website gives a wealth of information on fishing in Arkansas, including fishing reports, downloadable guidebooks and maps, and licensing information.

Licenses: All persons over 16 years of age who take or attempt to take game fish, turtles or frogs in Arkansas are required to have a valid Arkansas license. Most licenses can be purchased from sporting goods stores, hunting and fishing supply stores and some discount chains. Prices vary, but a resident license is $10.50 and a resident trout stamp is $5. Non-resident licenses are $40 annually, $11 for a 3-day trip, $17 for a 7-day trip, $22 for a 14-day trip and $12 for a trout stamp.
